20 million US dollars in Series A for Xentral

Augsburg-based start-up Xentral raises 20 million US dollars. A venture capitalist comes from Silicon Valley.

The Augsburg start-up Xentral raises 20 million US dollars. A venture capitalist comes from Silicon Valley.

Sequoia Capital from Menlo Park leads the Series A financing of Xentral. The Augsburg-based company was able to raise a total of 20 million US dollars. Another investor is the Berlin-based VC Visionaries Club. Luciana Lixandru from Sequoia and Robert Lacher from Visionaries Club will be part of the board of directors.

Xentral offers enterprise resource planning for small and medium-sized companies. It allows all of a company's processes to be bundled on one platform. The software start-up was founded by Benedikt and Claudia Sauter in Augsburg. Last year, they received seed funding from Frank Thelen and his VC Freigeist. The software is now used by 1000 companies. Xentral employs 65 people.
