20 million US dollars in Series-A for Xentral

Menlo Park-based Sequoia Capital is leading Xentral's Series A financing. In total, the Augsburg-based company was able to raise 20 million US dollars. Another investor is the Berlin-based VC Visionaries Club. Luciana Lixandru from Sequoia and Robert Lacher from Visionaries Club will be part of the board.
Xentral offers enterprise resource planning for small and medium-sized businesses. It allows all of a company's processes to be bundled on one platform. The software start-up was founded by the married couple Benedikt and Claudia Sauter in Augsburg. Last year, they received seed financing from Frank Thelen and his VC Freigeist. Meanwhile, 1000 companies use the software. Xentral employs 65 people.
