Bertrand Bouteloup becomes CCO at IDNow

The experienced IT manager is moving up within the company and will now manage all of the company's teams from France.
The identity verification start-up IDNow has a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The company has recruited IT specialist Bertrand Bouteloup for the role. Bouteloup joined IDNow as part of the takeover of French company Ariadnext. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales for the German company, a role he previously held at Ariadnext.
Prior to Ariadnext, Bouteloup worked at consulting firms Capgemini, Unisys and 8-i, among others. "I am looking forward to this new challenge within the IDnow Group, where I want to drive our revenue targets to 2023 and beyond," he said on the occasion of his new position. Bouteloup's previous role will be taken over by Cyril Patou, who joins from competitor Clear Skye.
IDnow was founded in 2014 by Armin Bauer, Dennis von Ferenczy, Felix Haas and Sebastian Baerhold; the Munich-based company has since raised 50 million euros. The coronavirus pandemic has caused demand for IDnow's digital verification and identification services to rise sharply, by 200% last year. Its customers include, for example N26the Solarisbank, Wefox and Commerzbank.
