Bind-X secures 10 million euros in financing round. Investors from Germany and abroad support the decarbonization and biologization of established industries.
Martinsried - Bind-X has successfully closed a financing round of 10 million euros. The investors come from both Germany and abroad and include renowned names such as HG Ventures, K&K 1, Greeneering Invest and Saxovent.
The fresh capital will be used to drive forward the decarbonization and biologization of established industries. Bind-X focuses on products for alternative weed control in agriculture, biological dust suppression in the mining industry and reducing the use of bitumen in road construction. The aim of Bind-X is to reduce megatons of CO2 emissions through innovative binding agents and thus make a contribution to combating climate change.

The investors have underlined their confidence in Bind-X's versatile technology platform, Bind-Tech®, and its commitment to sustainability and increasing the efficiency of entire industries. Among the backers is HG Ventures, the corporate venture arm of the Heritage Group based in Indianapolis, USA. John Glushik, Managing Director of HG Ventures, emphasizes Bind-X's unique industrial biotechnology platform and the potential for further innovation.
Kay Balster, Principal at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), is delighted with the new investors as an ideal addition to the existing consortium. The investors' experience should further drive Bind-X's growth in its core markets.

The financing will enable Bind-X to expand globally, increase production capacity and expand the team at three international locations.
