Celebrate Company buys Atelier Rosemood

The Celebrate Company has already taken over Mintkind and the digital printing division of Straub Druck + Medien. Now a French competitor is following suit.

Celebrate Company has taken over the French company Atelier Rosemood. The German photo product provider has paid a mid double-digit million euro amount for the purchase. As a result of the takeover, Celebrate Company's expected total turnover for the current financial year will rise to over 100 million euros.

"The acquisition of Rosemood is an important strategic step in our ambition to become one of the leading suppliers of stationery and photo products in Europe. With Rosemood, we can expand our product portfolio enormously, particularly in the very exciting "photo books" category, and thus further drive our growth in Europe," says Co-Managing Director Patrick Leibold. According to the companies, they had known each other for several years and decided to join forces for strategic reasons. Most recently, Atelier Rosemood had grown by 17 percent and had an annual turnover of 13.5 million euros.

The Celebrate Company emerged from Kartenmacherei, which was founded in 2010, and now unites several brands under one roof. At the beginning of 2020, the group of companies took over the digital printing division of Straub Druck + Medien. This now operates under the "Celebrate Digital Printing" brand. The Celebrate Company's last acquisition was the German company Mintkind. Celebrate Apps and the French brand Faireparterie also belong to the Celebrate Company.
