DasLab closes seed financing round in the amount of 6.2 million euros

With its platform for medical diagnostics, the start-up connects laboratories, healthcare providers, physicians and patients. With the financial resources from the financing round, the start-up wants to further expand its partner network.

DasLab has closed its seed funding round and raised a total of €6.2 million. Speedinvest led the round, with Kaya Ventures, All Iron Ventures and Plug and Play also participating. A number of business angels also invested, including the founders of Ada Health, Caresyntax, Doctoralia, Myoncare and Medneo.

Daniel Fallscheer, Etienne Adriaenssen and Jeremy Langworthy founded the startup in Berlin in September 2020. DasLab offers a digital platform that provides access to medical diagnostics. To do so, it connects laboratories, healthcare providers, logisticians, patients and medical professionals. By its own account, DasLab has already enabled more than 60,000 tests in this way with more than 50 partners in Germany and Spain. "With our platform, we empower patients to take their health into their own hands and to access and share their test results digitally at any time. In this way, we contribute to better healthcare and disease prevention," explains DasLab co-founder and CEO Daniel Fallscheer.

With the financial resources from the financing round, DasLab now wants to further develop its platform, expand its partner network and strengthen its team. The start-up also plans to offer "At Home" tests in the near future. Patients will be able to perform these themselves at home and then send them to a laboratory for analysis. Small and large blood counts are also to be integrated into the platform.
