DasLab closes seed financing round in the amount of 6.2 million euros

With its platform for medical diagnostics, the start-up connects laboratories, healthcare providers, doctors and patients. The start-up intends to use the funds from the financing round to further expand its partner network.

DasLab has completed its seed financing round and raised a total of 6.2 million euros. Speedinvest led the round, with Kaya Ventures, All Iron Ventures and Plug and Play also participating. A number of business angels also invested, including the founders of Ada Health, Caresyntax, Doctoralia, Myoncare and Medneo.

Daniel Fallscheer, Etienne Adriaenssen and Jeremy Langworthy founded the start-up in Berlin in September 2020. DasLab offers a digital platform that provides access to medical diagnostics. To this end, laboratories, healthcare providers, logistics specialists, patients and doctors are networked with each other. According to DasLab, it has already facilitated over 60,000 tests with more than 50 partners in Germany and Spain. "With our platform, we empower patients to take their health into their own hands and to access and share their test results digitally at any time. In this way, we contribute to better healthcare and disease prevention," explains DasLab co-founder and CEO Daniel Fallscheer.

DasLab now intends to use the funds from the financing round to further develop its platform, expand its partner network and strengthen its team. The start-up is also planning to offer "At Home" tests in the near future. Patients will be able to carry out these tests themselves at home and then send them to a laboratory for analysis. Minor and major blood counts are also to be integrated into the platform.
