Deepscenario secures seven-figure financing

The start-up wants to help its customers bring autonomous systems to market in a shorter time. High-Tech Gründerfonds is among those investing.
Munich-based start-up Deepscenario has raised seven-figure funding. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and MobilityFund invested in the process. A number of business angels also participated in the round.
Holger Banzhaf, Jacques Kaiser and Nijanthan Berinpanathan founded the start-up 2021. On the developed platform, customers can train, test and validate their autonomous systems. This should make it possible for companies to bring their autonomous products to market faster and more cost-effectively. The focus is on the automotive industry. According to the company, the platform is already being used by automotive manufacturers such as Audi, BMW and Bosch.
"Deepscenario's product is used as a virtual test bench on which automakers, suppliers, technology companies and certification bodies can validate autonomous systems," said Johannes Weber, senior investment manager at HTGF. "For example, thousands of driving variations through a challenging two-lane traffic circle can be performed and important insights into the safety and performance of the system can be gained."
