The start-up wants to help its customers bring autonomous systems to market in less time. High-Tech Gründerfonds is one of the investors.

The Munich-based start-up Deepscenario has raised seven-figure funding. The High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and the MobilityFund invested. Several business angels also participated in the round.

Holger Banzhaf, Jacques Kaiser and Nijanthan Berinpanathan founded the start-up in 2021. Customers can train, test and validate their autonomous systems on the platform they have developed. This should enable companies to bring their autonomous products to market faster and more cost-effectively. The focus here is on the automotive industry. According to the company, the platform is already being used by car manufacturers such as Audi, BMW and Bosch.

"Deepscenario's product is used as a virtual test bench on which car manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies and certification bodies can validate autonomous systems," says Johannes Weber, Senior Investment Manager at HTGF. "For example, thousands of driving variants can be carried out through a challenging two-lane traffic circle and important insights into the safety and performance of the system can be gained."
