Dyemansion receives EU funding of 15 million euros

The money comes from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The Munich-based start-up Dyemansion has received investment of 15 million euros. Four million euros come from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and eleven million euros from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The start-up claims to want to use the EU funding to create an "era of digital manufacturing". The aim is for 3D-printed products to become part of everyday life. With the EU funding, the company's total financing amounts to 43 million US dollars.
The investment follows a successful fourth quarter of 2021 for Dyemansion. In this quarter, the start-up sold 100 machines - a high figure for the company. Dyemansion has now appointed two new board members: Felix Reinshagen and Peter Nietzer. The two entrepreneurs and investors in the business-to-business industrial tech sector will support Dyemansion in its next phase of growth.
Nicklas Bergman, member of the EIC Fund's Investment Committee, hopes that the investment will help the company to "implement more sustainable global supply chains." Fabrizio Morgera, Senior Investment Officer at the EIB, adds: "We believe in the 3D printing market and post-Covid post-processing should be one of the winners in terms of global supply chains and sustainability."
According to Dyemansion, it is the world's leading provider of so-called "finishing systems" in industrial polymer 3D printing, which are designed to transform 3D-printed raw parts into higher-quality products. Customers can use the technology to print eyewear or personalized automotive interiors, for example.
