The money comes from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Munich-based start-up Dyemansion has received investment totaling 15 million euros. Four million euros come from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and eleven million euros from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The startup says it wants to use the EU funding to create an "era of digital manufacturing." In this, 3D-printed products are to become part of everyday life. The EU funding brings the company's total funding to $43 million.

The investment follows a successful fourth quarter of 2021 for Dyemansion. In this one, the startup sold 100 machines - a high figure for the company. Dyemansion has now appointed two new board members: Felix Reinshagen and Peter Nietzer. The two entrepreneurs and investors in the business-to-business industrial tech sector are to support Dyemansion in its next growth phase.

Nicklas Bergman, a member of the EIC Fund's investment committee, hopes the investments will help the company "implement more sustainable supply chains globally." Fabrizio Morgera, senior investment officer at the EIB, adds, "We believe in the 3D printing market, and post-processing should be one of the winners after the Covid crisis, in terms of global supply chains and sustainability."

Dyemansion says it is the world's leading supplier of so-called "finishing systems" in industrial polymer 3D printing, which are designed to transform 3D-printed raw parts into higher-quality products. Using the technology, customers are said to be able to print eyewear or personalized automotive interiors, for example.
