Eldertech closes first financing round

The start-up wants to make it easier to care for relatives with its app. Now private investors are getting on board.

The Aachen-based start-up Eldertech has completed its first round of financing. Eldertech was previously funded by the Exit Start-up Grant, but this will expire in May 2022. The company has now received funding in the mid-six-figure range at . The capital comes from Valentin Schmitt, Tobias Klein and other unnamed private investors.

Founders Artur Janiszek, André Fiebig and David Fiebig have developed an app designed to support families with senior citizens with home care. Founded in 2021, the start-up combines solutions from the fields of smart home, sensor technology, digital care aids, care services and telemedicine. The founders plan to invest the new capital in app development and expanding the workforce. A large sum will also be invested in sales and public relations.

"Ageing affects all of us. We are convinced that Eldertech offers exactly the right, holistic and digital solution to support families. Our investment in the company is therefore also an investment in the future of all of us," says investor Schmitt.
