Eldertech closes first financing round

The start-up wants to make it easier to care for relatives with its app. Now private investors are getting on board.

The Aachen-based startup Eldertech has closed its first round of financing. Previously, Eldertech was funded by the Exit Gründerstipendium, but this expires in May 2022. Now the company was able to obtain funding in the mid-six-figure range. The capital comes from Valentin Schmitt, Tobias Klein and other unnamed private investors.

The founders Artur Janiszek, André Fiebig and David Fiebig have developed an app to support families with seniors in home care. Founded in 2021, the start-up combines solutions from the fields of smart home, sensor technology, digital care aids as well as care services and telemedicine. The founders plan to invest the new capital in app development and staff expansion. In addition, a large amount is to flow into sales and public relations.
