Gigafactory to be built in Hamburg

The Digital Hub Logistics is moving and increasing its space almost threefold. The new center will open as early as November.
The Hamburg startup center "Digital Hub Logistics" is moving into new premises. As early as November 08, 2022, the hub plans to celebrate its launch in the new offices, which now cover 3200 square meters and are therefore also called "Gigafactory". This is significantly larger than the 1200 square meters previously occupied by the hub for startups from the logistics, mobility and e-commerce sectors.
The hub was originally founded as part of the DE:Hub initiative launched by the German Federal Ministry of Economics in 2017. The initiative was intended to create an ecosystem for young companies and startups to drive innovation. In the now soon-to-be larger Hamburg hub, the ten-person team wants to ensure more exchange and creativity among startups.
Commenting on the plans, Johannes Berg, Managing Director of Digital Hub Logistics, says: "The move of Digital Hub Logistics to new premises is visible proof of our success, through which we can now offer new opportunities to growing startups from all over Germany."
