Global Savings Group and Pepper join forces

The two companies' offerings complement each other: while Pepper operates shopping communities, Global Savings Group offers access to cashback and savings opportunities.

Global Savings Group (GSG) has joined forces with shopping community Pepper. A corresponding agreement has already been signed. Together, the companies want to develop further technologies and become the largest platform for shopping solutions.

Global Savings Group offers consumers access to savings opportunities, cashbacks and product reviews. Founded in 2012, the Munich-based company grew primarily through acquisitions. In 2018, for example, GSG bought the British company Pouch, followed in 2020 and 2021 by the acquisitions of cashback providers Igraal and Shoop. Most recently, the U.S.-based Coupons.com was added. Pepper includes shopping communities such as Dealabs, Hotukdeals and Mydeals.
