For his investment, the Youtuber specially founded a holding company. The start-up sells tea and coffee drinks.

The Youtuber Gronkh has invested in the Augsburg-based start-up Ocha-Ocha. The company, founded in 2017, sells unsweetened tea and coffee drinks for which Gronkh, whose real name is Erik Range, will now also become a brand ambassador. How high the invested sum is, is still unclear.

As Youtuber Gronkh, Erik Range is one of Germany's best-known gamers. He regularly reaches an audience of millions on YouTube and the streaming platform Twitch, and he now wants to make Ocha-Ocha's drinks palatable to them. According to his own information, he has founded a holding company under which an investment company called "Range Ventures" is suspended. The reason for the investment according to Erik Range: "My biggest problem is the dependence on sugar."

Christopher Gogolin founded the start-up in 2017 after a semester abroad in Japan. It was there that he got the idea for tea and coffee drinks without sugar because, according to his stories, they were available on every corner there. Most recently, the start-up struggled to survive in the Corona crisis, but managed to save itself with a crowdfunding campaign in 2021. The new investment should now help the start-up to grow.
