HelloBetter raises over six million euros

The Berlin-based HealthTech startup secures over six million euros to roll out its digital therapies internationally and further develop AI-supported solutions.

Berlin, 6 March 2025 - Berlin-based HealthTech startup HelloBetter, specializing in digital solutions for mental health, has raised over six million euros in a new financing round. The round was led by Mutuelles Impact (managed by XAnge), with participation from MMV, HealthCap, Expon and DVH Ventures. The funds will be used for international expansion, particularly in France, and for the development of new AI-supported therapy offerings.

Market entry in France with strong partners

With the support of Mutuelles Impact, a fund with a social focus, HelloBetter is planning to launch its digital therapies in France. In cooperation with 65 French mutuelles (supplementary health insurers), the aim is to reach a broad network of patients. The aim is also to obtain approval from the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) to enable reimbursement by the French healthcare system.

This funding will enable us to strengthen HelloBetter as a brand in Germany, develop new products and introduce our proven digital solutions in France.

AI as the key to the mental healthcare of the future

In addition to expansion, HelloBetter is investing in the further development of AI-supported therapy services. The company recently announced funding of three million euros for an AI-based solution to support mental health. The aim is to make digital therapies even more accessible, personalized and effective.

Growth based on scientific evidence

HelloBetter currently offers ten digital therapy programs, six of which are approved as digital health applications (DiGA) in Germany. Over 120,000 patients have already used the programs. The effectiveness of the programs has been scientifically proven in 30 randomized controlled trials. With the new funding, HelloBetter aims to strengthen its position as a provider of digital mental healthcare and scale its solutions globally.
