Heynannyly convinces eight new business angels

With the help of its backers, the company, which was launched in Munich, plans to expand into other regions in Germany as early as October.

Only launched in Munich in March of this year, Heynannyly plans to expand into other regions in Germany from October. To do so, it is also relying on the support of eight business angels, as the start-up now announces. The backers include Marco Adelt, co-founder and board member of Clark, and former TUI and VW executive Elke Eller. The company is not disclosing how much the start-up has raised in total capital.

Heynannyly was founded by former Austrian professional ice hockey player Anna Schneider and Julia Kahle. Both are experienced human resources professionals. With their digital platform, they want to relieve parents of the problem of finding a trustworthy babysitter. To do this, they turn to their employers: companies buy the babysitter platform as a benefit and cover some or all of the costs for the employees. This way, parents should be able to book a babysitter flexibly, also specifically for homework supervision and for transportation services such as picking them up from daycare or driving them to the sports club.

"A service like Heynannyly simply doesn't exist - but the need is there. As a father of two myself, I know how difficult it is to find a childcare person you really trust," Adelt says of the startup. Soon, he says, Heynannyly will simplify the daily lives of thousands of parents. "The B2B approach to this is just smart."
