The innovation accelerator Huge Thing has launched the application phase for the Industry Test Track of its Startup Booster program. The program supports startups to validate and scale their solutions in collaboration with leading companies such as Orlen, PZU, Veolia and BNP Paribas. Participating startups receive mentorship, access to business networks and equity-free funding of up to 80,000 euros.

Bridging the gap between startups and corporate reality

The Industry Test Track is aimed at startups with mature products at TRL levels 6-9 that can be tested in real corporate environments. The program enables startups to further develop and adapt their technologies in collaboration with established companies and to reach market maturity directly.

Many startups fail to prove the value of their solutions beyond prototypes. We give them access to corporate ecosystems where their solutions can be tested, improved and scaled.

The participating companies are looking for innovations in various areas:

  • Orlen: thermal energy storage, sensors for precision agriculture
  • Veolia: AI-powered water quality monitoring, telemetry for heating systems, circular economy solutions
  • PZU: process automation, data-driven underwriting, price optimization
  • BNP Paribas: personalized customer communication, AI-supported interaction analysis, real-time onboarding

Successes of previous programs

Previous participants in the Startup Booster program have been able to establish direct collaborations with large companies. For example, the startups Riffsec (cybersecurity) and Simpl.rent (PropTech) launched pilot projects with PZU. This enabled the companies to test their products in real market conditions and achieve commercial success more quickly.

These examples show that collaboration between startups and corporates delivers measurable results. Our mission is to be the bridge that translates innovation into real business results.
