Jean-Marc Guyot joins IDnow

Last year, the start-up acquired its French competitor Ariadnext. Guyot is now to merge the development departments of the two companies.

IDnow has appointed Jean-Marc Guyot as Vice President Engineering. He is to unite the development teams of the Munich-based group and the French company Ariadnext, which was acquired last year. He will also make technological decisions and align the joint video and signature solutions.

"Both teams - IDnow and Ariadnext - bring valuable skills and experience to the table," says Jean-Marc Guyot. "My task will be to bring these together into a unified platform that meets the needs of European companies in all jurisdictions and use cases." By bringing the development teams together, IDnow aims to drive its international growth. The company aims to become the market leader in Europe, covering all areas of identity verification.

Guyot already has experience in leading teams and developing new technologies. Most recently, he was Vice President Engineering at cloud-based security provider Wallix. Prior to that, he built up the telecommunications division at Enesys. He sold his own start-up Silembia to Silicon Labs in 2006.
