Josef Mardijan becomes chief financial officer at Fruitcore Robotics

Fruitcore Robotics is preparing for new growth. Among other things, the new chief financial officer is to expand relations with investors for this purpose.

Fruitcore Robotics has expanded its management team: In the future, Josef Mardijan will support the current managing directors Jens Riegger and Patrick Heimburger as the new chief financial officer. The 30-year-old is to prepare the finance department for the upcoming growth of Fruitcore Robotics, secure corporate financing and expand relations with investors. Prior to Mardijan, Patrick Heimburger held the position of chief financial officer. The latter is now focusing on the start-up's further national and international expansion as Chief Revenue Officer.

Mardijan most recently worked as Chief Financial Officer at the Kauth Group, a medium-sized automotive supplier with around 550 employees. In the group of companies, he also gained experience in controlling and accounting. "I am very much looking forward to the upcoming tasks and challenges and to helping shape Fruitcore Robotics' further path towards becoming the central player in the field of digital robotics," says Mardijan.

Fruitcore Robotics has existed since 2017 and develops digital robots that can be automated for industrial applications. The startup's products include the Horst digital robot, Horstfx software and the Horstcosmos IoT platform. The start-up currently has around 100 employees at its headquarters in Constance and production site in Villingen-Schwenningen.
