Josef Mardijan becomes chief financial officer at Fruitcore Robotics

Fruitcore Robotics is preparing for new growth. Among other things, the new CFO is to expand relationships with investors.

Fruitcore Robotics has expanded its management team: In future, Josef Mardijan will support the previous Managing Directors Jens Riegger and Patrick Heimburger as the new Head of Finance. The 30-year-old will prepare the finance department for the upcoming growth of Fruitcore Robotics, secure corporate financing and expand relations with investors. Prior to Mardijan, Patrick Heimburger held the position of Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Revenue Officer, he will now focus on the further national and international expansion of the start-up.

Mardijan most recently worked as Chief Financial Officer at the Kauth Group, a medium-sized automotive supplier with around 550 employees. He also gained experience in controlling and accounting at the group of companies. "I am very much looking forward to the tasks and challenges ahead and to helping shape Fruitcore Robotics' further development into the central player in the field of digital robotics," says Mardijan.

Fruitcore Robotics was founded in 2017 and develops digital robots that can be automated for use in industry. The start-up's products include the digital robot Horst, the software Horstfx and the IoT platform Horstcosmos. The start-up currently has around 100 employees at its headquarters in Constance and the production site in Villingen-Schwenningen.
