The Berlin-based legal learning platform Jurafuchs has closed another financing round with existing investors. IBB Ventures and several business angels have expanded their commitment and invested an additional 500,000 euros in total. This brings the total capital raised by the EdTech company, which was founded in 2018, to around two million euros.

Profitable EdTech with a stable user base

Jurafuchs claims to have been profitable for over two years and reaches more than 20,000 active users every month. The platform is aimed at law students and trainee lawyers and focuses on structured, case-based teaching of legal content.

Focus on specialized legal AI Foxxy AI

The fresh capital will primarily flow into the further development of the company's own AI solution Foxxy AI. Jurafuchs is deliberately pursuing a specialized approach: the AI model was developed specifically for legal learning processes and is deeply integrated into the platform. Foxxy was trained with editorially created and reviewed content as well as with real user interactions.

Focus on personalization and 1:1 tutoring

Thanks to this approach, Foxxy provides particularly precise and context-related feedback, enables personalized 1:1 tutoring and supports users in solving specific legal issues. The AI is already answering several thousand questions a month in the Jurafuchs forum.

Investors see potential as a category leader

IBB Ventures particularly emphasizes the proven, profitable business model and the technological positioning. Jurafuchs has the potential to develop as successfully as other leading EdTech companies in the investor's portfolio, such as Babbel or Sofatutor.

AI as a lever for more effective legal training

The specialized AI approach is also at the heart of the founders' growth strategy. Jurafuchs points to examples from other areas of education in which domain-specific AI models achieve measurably better learning results than broad-based language models. The renewed involvement of existing investors is seen as confirmation of this approach.
