AI assistant AskBrian completes pre-seed round

The Munich-based AI is now set to grow further. Brian is already being used by 200 companies.
The AI start-up AskBrian has closed its pre-seed financing round. Led by Fostec Ventures, a capital increase was carried out by existing investors as well as new investors: Stuttgart-based VC Carcharodon Capital, COREventures from Berlin and US-based VC Whistler took new stakes. Among the existing investors are the founders of Flink, Zenloop, Flaconi and Kartenmacherei. Nothing was disclosed about the size of the round.
"We were convinced by Brian's feature set paired with its ease of use via email or MS Teams," said Markus Fost, managing director of Fostec Ventures. Brian is an AI that takes over labor-intensive steps. Among other things, Brian can translate documents into 100 languages, create business analyses and presentation graphics. "In the future, Brian will be able to do much more," says Ingo Weber, managing director of Carcharodon Capital. "He has what it takes to significantly disrupt and positively change the consulting industry, leaving more time for the things that matter."
AskBrian was founded in 2018 and is already used by 200 companies. A license is available from €7.99 per month.
