The Munich-based AI is now set to grow further. Brian is already being used by 200 companies.

The AI start-up AskBrian has completed its pre-seed financing round. Under the leadership of Fostec Ventures, a capital increase was carried out by existing investors as well as new investors: Stuttgart-based VC Carcharodon Capital, COREventures from Berlin and US-based VC Whistler participated for the first time. The existing investors include the founders of Flink, Zenloop, Flaconi and Kartenmacherei. The amount of the round was not disclosed.

"We were impressed by Brian's range of functions coupled with its ease of use via email or MS Teams," says Markus Fost, Managing Director of Fostec Ventures. Brian is an AI that takes over labor-intensive steps. Among other things, Brian can translate documents into 100 languages and create business analyses and presentation graphics. "Brian will be able to do much more in the future," says Ingo Weber, Managing Director of Carcharodon Capital. "He has what it takes to significantly disrupt and positively change the consulting industry, leaving more time for the important things."

AskBrian was founded in 2018 and is already used by 200 companies. A license is available from 7.99 euros per month.
