KölnBusiness and partners launch Impact.Cologne

KölnBusiness and twelve partner organizations are joining forces to launch the "Impact.Cologne" initiative and provide companies and startups in Cologne with a central point of contact for sustainability and climate protection issues, under the patronage of NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur.
Cologne - Together with twelve partner organizations, the business development agency KölnBusiness has launched the "Impact.Cologne" initiative. This initiative is intended to support companies and startups in Cologne in their efforts for sustainability and climate protection.
In Cologne, there were previously different players from companies, startups and science working on sustainable solutions. However, there was a lack of a coordinated point of contact for these efforts. The initiative "Impact.Cologne" was launched under the moderation of KölnBusiness to close this gap. Its goal is to provide companies, founders and investors in Cologne with a central point of contact for topics such as sustainability and climate protection. Mona Neubaur, NRW's Minister of Economic Affairs, is the initiative's patron.
With Impact.Cologne, we bring together different approaches and offers in our city and support companies and startups on their way to a sustainable future.
Dr. Manfred Janssen, Managing Director of KölnBusiness.
The initiative bundles its projects and offers on its own homepage. A consulting network coordinated by KölnBusiness is also available there. Companies, founders and investors can benefit from this knowledge network and establish contacts with potential cooperation partners.
Climate neutrality is one of the important topics of our time. Ten partners from various industries are working together to advance sustainable solutions.
Andree Haack, Councillor for Urban Development, Economy, Digitalization and Regional Affairs.
In addition to the online platform, Impact.Cologne will also offer regular events to address different target groups. The first event on September 21 is aimed at founders in the sustainability sector. A total of 13 founding members are part of Impact.Cologne, including companies, universities, initiatives and urban stakeholders. Together, they are committed to a sustainable future for Cologne's economy.
KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderung is a subsidiary of the City of Cologne and acts as the primary point of contact for companies and founders in the city. Its main mission is to provide guidance and support on administrative matters and regulations. KölnBusiness plays an important role in networking, information and mediation in all relevant economic and administrative matters. With Impact.Cologne, KölnBusiness shows that the future can be green and sustainable.
