KölnBusiness and partners launch Impact.Cologne

KölnBusiness and twelve partner organizations are joining forces to launch the "Impact.Cologne" initiative and offer companies and start-ups in Cologne a central point of contact for sustainability and climate protection issues, under the patronage of NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur.
Cologne - The business development agency KölnBusiness has launched the "Impact.Cologne" initiative together with twelve partner organizations. This initiative aims to support companies and start-ups in Cologne in their efforts to promote sustainability and climate protection.
Up to now, there have been various players from companies, start-ups and science working on sustainable solutions in Cologne. However, there was no coordinated point of contact for these efforts. The "Impact.Cologne" initiative was launched under the moderation of KölnBusiness to close this gap. Its aim is to offer companies, start-ups and investors in Cologne a central point of contact for topics such as sustainability and climate protection. Mona Neubaur, NRW Minister of Economic Affairs, is the patron of the initiative.
With Impact.Cologne, we bring together different approaches and offers in our city and support companies and start-ups on their way to a sustainable future.
Dr. Manfred Janssen, Managing Director of KölnBusiness
The initiative bundles its projects and offers on its own homepage. An advisory network coordinated by KölnBusiness is also available there. Companies, start-ups and investors can benefit from this knowledge network and make contact with potential cooperation partners.
Climate neutrality is one of the most important issues of our time. Ten partners from different sectors are working together to promote sustainable solutions.
Andree Haack, Councillor for Urban Development, Economy, Digitalization and Regional Affairs
In addition to the online platform, Impact.Cologne will also offer regular events to address different target groups. The first event on September 21 is aimed at founders in the sustainability sector. A total of 13 founding members are part of Impact.Cologne, including companies, universities, initiatives and urban stakeholders. Together, they are committed to a sustainable future for Cologne's economy.
