Studitemps receives over nine million euros

The HR company from Cologne has received a capital increase from existing investors and is raising 9.2 million euros. The money is to flow into the expansion of the product range.

Now the Cologne-based company receives a capital increase of 9.2 million euros. Investors include Iris Capital, HV Capital and Xange. The money will be put into further automating processes at Studitemps. For example, there will be AI-powered job matching.

2020 Studitemps has achieved a 20 percent increase in revenue to 94.7 million euros. "2020 has shown as never before how important the student workforce is," says CEO Eckhard Köhn. "The capital increase gives us the opportunity to further expand our tech solution." After all, "The goal is for students to be able to secure a job via app as easily and quickly as they order food online."

Studietemps matches students and young people with jobs based on their availability, interests and location. Founded in 2008, the grow-up has 300 employees in 24 locations across Germany.
