Localyze raises twelve million US dollars

The Hamburg-based start-up supports companies in the migration process of employees, from applying for a visa to relocation. Localyze has now closed its Series A financing round.
The start-up Localyze received twelve million US dollars in its Series A financing round. The round was led by London-based venture capitalist Blossom Capital, and also includes existing investor Frontline Ventures, which already led the €2.1 million seed funding round in 2020. In addition, various business angels such as Hanno Renner, who is also a customer of Localyze with his company Personio, Forto CEO Michael Wax and David Clarke, CTO of Workday, are participating.
Founded in 2018, the company apparently saw 300 percent revenue growth in the first quarter of 2021 and launched its offering in Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain. It plans to use the money it raised for further expansion. Localyze's founders are Hanna Asmussen, Lisa Dahlke and Franziska Löw, and today the startup says it has 25 employees.
Localyze supports companies in the mobility of their employees by helping with everything from bureaucratic processes such as applying for visas to accommodating employees in new locations and networking between branches. Customers include Babbel, Volocopter, Tier and Personio.
