Lovoo founder invests in developer hero

The Dresden-based start-up Entwicklerheld receives half a million euros. The company wants to expand with the investment.
Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen as well as Björn Bak, founder of the online dating platform Lovoo and the investment firm Edition.VC, have invested in the Dresden-based start-up Entwicklerheld. A total of half a million euros flowed into the still young company.
The start-up has focused on the placement of programmers. According to the company, 20,000 developers are registered on its own platform. It is this platform that the startup is now looking to expand with the help of the new funding.
The computer scientists of the TU Dresden had founded Entwicklerheld only two years ago. The new backers, however, apparently see opportunities. "The platform has the potential to become a market-leading provider of developer services in the coming years," investor Bak told business blog Oiger
