More capital for Wiwin

The Mainz-based start-up Wiwin has increased its capital. By 2025, it aims to be able to broker three-digit million contributions to sustainable projects every year.
Winwin has found new investors for sustainable projects. Among the investors in the capital increase were business angels Wilfried Gillrath, Jan Bohl and Thomas Adank. The entrepreneurs are also members of the start-up's new advisory board. Former Wiwin proxy Philip Liesenfeld and Professor of Management and Sustainability Julia Hartmann from EBS University of Economics and Law will also be part of the advisory board. With Hartmann's help, a scoring system will be developed to categorize sustainable products.
"We have already brokered more than 100 million euros in capital for the implementation of sustainable projects, but with the active support of our new shareholders, we want to achieve much more," says Wiwin founder and CEO Matthias Willenbacher.
By 2025 at the latest, Wiwin aims to broker a three-digit million euro amount annually to sustainable start-ups and projects. Private individuals can invest money in sustainable projects and start-ups via crowdinvesting on the start-up's online platform.
