More capital for Wiwin

The Mainz-based start-up Wiwin has increased its capital. The aim is to raise hundreds of millions annually for sustainable projects by 2025.
Winwin has found new investors for sustainable projects. Among the investors in the capital increase were business angels Wilfried Gillrath, Jan Bohl and Thomas Adank. The entrepreneurs are also members of the start-up's new advisory board. The former authorized signatory of Wiwin Philip Liesenfeld and Professor of Management and Sustainability Julia Hartmann from the EBS University of Business and Law will also be part of the advisory board. With Hartmann's help, a points system is to be developed that categorizes sustainable products.
"We have already raised more than 100 million euros in capital for the implementation of sustainable projects, but we want to achieve significantly more with the active support of our new shareholders," says Wiwin founder and CEO Matthias Willenbacher.
By 2025 at the latest, Wiwin aims to broker a three-digit million euro amount annually to sustainable start-ups and projects. Private individuals can invest money in sustainable projects and start-ups via crowdinvesting on the start-up's online platform.
