Philipp Hemmer strengthens Holidu management

Hemmer has already headed marketing at Eckes-Granini and Procter & Gamble. In his new position, he reports directly to Holidu COO Simon von Hertzberg.
Holidu has expanded its management: At the beginning of the month, Philipp Hemmer took over the newly created position of Senior Director Brand. He is now responsible for the strategic positioning and growth of the Holidu and Bookiply brands, as well as brand design, product marketing, public relations and employer branding.
Hemmer was most recently Marketing Director and member of the Executive Board at Eckes-Granini. Prior to that, he worked for twelve years at Procter & Gamble, where he held various marketing and branding positions for brands such as Head & Shoulders and Lenor. "Holidu has had an impressive track record with its world-class team of bright minds, and I'm excited to be shaping the brands' evolution with the team in the very dynamic travel tech environment," Hemmer says of his new position at Holidu.
Brothers Johannes and Michael Siebers founded Holidu in Munich in 2014. The start-up operates a search engine for vacation homes and apartments. According to its own information, more than 100 million users use the platform every year. Under the name Bookiply, Holidu also offers software designed to enable vacation home agents to get more bookings.
