Edtech from Koblenz offers an operating system for everyday education. Among others, Haniel has invested.

The German Edtech Sdui was able to raise 25 million euros in capital in a financing round. The start-up wants to use this to further develop an operating system for everyday digital education, develop its own product and expand; the start-up apparently has its sights particularly set on other European countries.

Both existing investors and new investors have invested, as the start-up based in Koblenz announced. According to the statement, HV Capital and Haniel led the round, High-Techgründerfonds, among others, increased its investment and all together catapulted the valuation into the three-digit million range. Daniel Zacharias, founder and CEO of Sdui, said, "With revenue growth of more than 300 percent since the initial Series A in March 2021, Sdui has been able to prove how much potential there is still in our business model."

The startup, which Zacharias founded in 2018, now includes companies in Germany, Switzerland and Belgium and employs 170 people. The company has developed a platform that is used in schools and daycare centers, which teachers as well as parents and children are expected to use. They can use it, for example, to manage administrative tasks, chat, create a timetable or use a translation function.
