Seed funding for Tiny Houses by Raus

The Berlin-based start-up wants to rent out small houses in the countryside. For this, there was a seven-figure sum, the investment is led by Speedinvest.
Hospitality start-up Raus has successfully completed its seed round. A seven-figure sum comes from Viennese early-stage investor Speedinvest. Julian Stiefel and Julian Weselek from travel planner Tourlane are also participating, reports Gründerszene. "With the money we want to open the first locations this year," says co-founder Julian Trautwein to the portal. The founders are putting the money into product and technology development as well as scaling.
The idea of the three founders Christopher Eilers, Johann Ahlers and Trautwein: They want to rent out tiny houses, so-called cabins, in the countryside. To do this, they are working with architects, among others, to develop and build houses. Raus wants to work with farmers or forest owners to obtain land in exchange for a share of the revenue. Property owners could also take care of cleaning the cabins. On their website, the founders are already advertising, "Take a break from big city life in chic, sustainable cabins close to home."
You can't book the cabins yet, though. So far, interested parties can only sign up for an email distribution list to be informed as soon as things get going.
