Spree Interactive and VR Nerds become partners

VR glasses producer Spree Interactive wants to make the technology more suitable for the masses. To this end, the start-up has now entered into a partnership with VR Nerds.
Spree Interactive announces a new licensing partnership: starting today, the startup is teaming up with VR Nerds for the game Tower Tag, a virtual version of Paint Ball. The e-sports experience features tournaments between players against each other or against AI-controlled bots.
Spree Interactive was founded in 2017 out of the Fraunhofer Institute and develops virtual reality glasses. In doing so, the startup takes care of the setup, installation, software and hardware of the VR glasses. The goal is to make the technology more suitable for the masses. Last year, for example, the curious were able to travel virtually to Mars in a Munich shopping mall with the help of the glasses. Behind this was five months of work by ten designers and developers. With partners like VR Nerds, Spree Interactive wants to develop new offerings like the recent Mission to Mars game with ProSieben.
Last November, Spree Interactive already closed a successful funding round. No exact figures are known, but the start-up says the sum is in seven figures. With it it wants to push the global distribution and enter into further partnerships. Spree Interactive is already announcing another one - with whom is yet to be announced.
