Talentry and Cleverconnect merge

With the merger, the two companies aim to become the European market leader for recruiting.
The French recruiting start-up Cleverconnect and the Munich-based start-up Talentry have merged. In the future, the two companies will continue to operate under the name Cleverconnect, and together they have 270 employees. Talentry's investors, such as Hybris founder Carsten Thoma and Celonis co-founders Bastian Nominacher and Alex Rink, continue to support the merger. Talentry founder and CEO Carl Hoffmann becomes a co-founder of Cleverconnect.
The two companies' business models complement each other. Cleverconnect has developed a software solution for the recruiting process of companies. For example, the startup offers time-shifted video interviews, artificial intelligence for career sites and a matching technology for resumes. Founded in 2013, Talentry has developed a platform that helps companies find talent across all available channels and retain them for the long term.
"We share the same company values and a common mission: to help as many talents as possible find their dream job," says Talentry founder and CEO Hoffmann. With their merger, the companies want to provide an answer to the shortage of skilled workers in Europe. "That's why it's only logical that we join forces with those of Cleverconnect to take on this challenge and provide our customers with the best possible support," explains Hoffmann. This year, the two companies aim to achieve sales growth of over 70 percent. To achieve this, Cleverconnect plans to expand in Europe and further develop its products.
