The Platform Group buys car parts dealer Lott

Lott will be integrated into the sales platform for a single-digit million amount.
The Platform Group of founder Dominik Benner has bought the family business Lott for a single-digit million amount, reports Gründerszene. The sales platform for car parts will now be integrated into the Platform Group's online store. All 100 employees are to be taken on.
The Platform Group emerged from the family shoe store. After Benner took over the fifth-generation store in 2012, he set up the first sales platform Schuhe24, which is also connected to major platforms such as Amazon and eBay. Last year, The Platform Group was created. Last year, the group sold 120 million items via 53 online stores.
Lott is the first provider for motor vehicles in the portfolio and also the 13th sector in which The Platform Group is now active. The Wiesbaden-based company also acquired a furniture store and an online pharmacy this year. Benner plans to take over a total of five to six companies this year, he told Gründerszene.
