Venta AI receives 2 million dollars

The Munich-based startup Venta AI has closed a pre-seed financing round of 2 million US dollars. The round was led by US early-stage investor Gradient, with Y Combinator, Orange Collective, Gaingels and several business angels such as Gleb Tritus, Julian Borg, Göran Göring and Freddy Martin also participating.
Focus on legally compliant AI sales employees for Germany
Venta AI develops specialized AI employees for B2B sales in Germany. The product automates labor-intensive tasks such as customer research, lead identification and initial contact. Particular emphasis is placed on compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Unfair Competition Act (UWG). According to the company, this is the first AI system to combine sales automation with a legally compliant company database, specially trained language models and alternative channels such as letter post.
Fields of application and customer base
While existing tools are often designed for the US market, our goal was to build an AI for the German market - in terms of language, content and regulation.

Together with Stefan Reuther, he brings experience from a previous AI start-up that has been supporting companies such as Telefonica and Linde since 2018.
Among other things, Venta AI supports the preparation of trade fairs and the identification of new target groups. According to the company, up to 30% more qualified meetings can be arranged per month. Its first customers include UnternehmerTUM and the ARNO Group.
Platform approach with a focus on compliance
The AI sales platform combines company data, sales-optimized AI models and cross-channel targeting options. The solution is hosted entirely in Europe. According to the company, it works exclusively with data protection-compliant information. The aim is to offer companies an opportunity to carry out legally compliant cold calling.
Venta AI intends to use the fresh capital to expand its team. New functions along the entire customer journey are planned, from processing incoming inquiries to CRM-supported lead prioritization. There are vacancies in development, sales and customer success, among others.
