Volders buys competitor Aboalarm

The digital cancellation service thus becomes the market leader in the area of cancellations and contract management.
The digital cancellation service Volders already took over its competitor Aboalarm completely in August. Now the acquisition has become public. According to its own statements, the merger makes Volders the German market leader in the area of terminations and contract management. As part of the acquisition, the companies also published business figures for the first time. Thus, 110,000 notices are sent for users per month. The annual turnover is in the unspecified eight-digit range.
"Aboalarm is a perfect fit for Volders and the acquisition underscores our stated goal of becoming the leading cancellation service in the German-speaking market," says Volders CEO and founder Jan Hendrik Ansink. He founded the company in 2014, Aboalarm started in 2008. Both companies offer a cancellation service for contracts from the areas of Internet, mobile communications, insurance or streaming. Together, they say they have more than ten million customers. Both companies operate in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Following the acquisition, Volders intends to grow further. The technologies of Volders, Abolaram and the third brand Finlytics for partners from the banking and insurance sectors are now to be merged. Marketing and product development are now also to be the focus of the combined workforce of more than 50 employees.
