Fulfillment startup Warehousing1 has a new chief financial officer. Martin Alpermann takes over as Director of Finance at the Berlin-based company and is expected to work on the strategic direction of the company as well as improve internal financial processes.
Alpermann was most recently Vice President Finance at the software company Rapid Data. He also worked in investment banking for many years. "With Martin Alpermann, we have brought a very experienced finance expert into our startup," explains Fabian Sedlmayr, founder and managing director of Warehousing1.
Warehousing1, founded in 2018 by Nico Szeli, Nils Aschmann and Fabian Sedlmayr, offers fulfillment services to e-commerce companies, i.e. the delivery of goods to customers and the fulfillment of other contractual obligations. At the beginning of the year, the start-up had raised ten million euros in its Series A financing round.
