Warehousing1 receives more than ten million euros

The logistics start-up is Schenker Ventures' first investment. The investment vehicle of the railroad subsidiary was launched last year.

Warehousing1 has closed a Series A financing round of more than ten million euros. The existing investors HV Capital and Base10 Partners followed suit. The Berlin-based logistics start-up also secured three new investors for the new funding, including Aster Capital, Wille Finance and Schenker Ventures. The investment arm of DB Schenker, founded in 2021, will also support Warehousing1 with expertise in its strategic orientation.

Nico Szeli, Nils Aschmann and Fabian Sedlmayr founded Warehousing1 in Berlin in 2018. The start-up offers a digital platform on which corporate customers can book and manage fulfillment and warehouse logistics. To this end, Warehousing1 has built a network of more than 850 locations in Europe and the United States. The start-up's customers include companies such as Lidl, Barilla and Samsung.

With the money from the financing round, Warehousing1 wants to hire more employees and invest in its technology and product. The new head of technology and product, Leandro Loiacono, is expected to help with the further development of the product portfolio. The startup also plans to more than triple its revenue by the end of this year. According to its own information, the company already generates eight-figure sales.
