Why did you found your start-up, what problem are you addressing and how are you solving it?

We asked ourselves why the transportation industry can't do what airlines, hotels and car rental companies have been able to do for a long time:

With dynamic prices and autonomous capacity control for maximum capacity utilization and the highest possible return. Carrypicker makes transportation easier and more economical by always finding the best carrier and the most intelligent route to our customers.

What is special about your business model, what do you do differently?

Currently, there are many players focusing on the logistics market at large, but we are the only start-up that can serve the LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) market.

What has been your biggest success so far?

With our idea and vision, we were able to convince private investors and also our first pilot customers, with whom we are testing the technology. We are also being supported by the BMVI with a research project with a research project.

What are your milestones?

Building a customer-friendly product, gaining recognition in Germany, the Netherlands and throughout Europe. Six-digit number of registered carriers. And of course we are very happy to have achieved this title as "Startup of the Month" ;)

What's the next challenge for you?

For the next year, we want to maintain the high growth rate we experienced in the last first year.

Why are you on Startbase?

We are an ambitious startup with the goal to change the logistics market. To continue our tremendous growth, we need to keep our momentum right. We see Startbase as a platform for us to attract strategic investors and future team members. Also, a strong market presence makes us attractive to other carriers.

What would you recommend to other founders?

We would recommend founders to focus on finding the right investor/partner and the right team members. Find and build a team that believes in the company's mission.

Where did you meet?

We have met at various industry events over the years and developed a shared vision.

Where do you see yourselves in 3 years?

In the next 3 years we want to be a system that benefits the customer, the carrier and the environment. Carrypicker will make one of Germany's most important industries fit for the future.

Who is the mastermind in your team and what is their superpower?

The whole team is the mastermind in our startup. We are enthusiasts who want to make a difference. Not just on the road, but also in the work processes of everyone involved.
