1.4 million euros for Finmarie

The female fintech's app is not yet on the market, but the concept has already convinced investors.
The female fintech Finmarie has completed its first financing round: The Berlin-based company raised 1.4 million euros, which it intends to invest in the expansion of its products, the expansion of the team and targeted marketing. The money comes from High-Tech Gründerfonds and the company Wallstreet:online, which is also based in the fintech sector and operates an online broker called Smartbroker.
"We are delighted to have two very strong and competent partners at our side in HTGF and wallstreet:online to significantly expand our offering in the coming months and reach even more women," says founder Karolina Decker. "Our mission is to make women more financially independent and facilitate their access to the financial market," she explains the motivation behind her start-up.
Decker founded Finmarie in 2018 and has been running the start-up together with Rica Klitzke and Leitha Matz since 2021. The company's app is not yet on the market, but the launch is planned for the first quarter of next year. Finmarie currently offers financial coaching and workshops as well as various robo-advisors and an e-learning community.
Finmarie has already convinced investors of its concept: "We are delighted to support Finmarie in encouraging and enabling women in particular to take their finances into their own hands. The potential is huge," says Wallstreet:online CEO Matthias Hach.
