AMPECO secures fresh capital for global EV charging networks! AMPECO drives the future of electric mobility with new funding and innovative platform

Sofia, Bulgaria, November 26, 2024 - AMPECO, a startup of EV charging management platforms, has closed $26 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Revaia, with participation from BMW i Ventures, Cavalry Ventures and LAUNCHub Ventures. This investment brings the total funding of the company, which was founded in 2019, to 42 million US dollars. The funds will be used to drive product innovation, expand its presence in key markets such as Western Europe, North America and Southeast Asia and strengthen the team.

Growing market for electromobility

The global market for electric vehicles is growing rapidly: over 30 million EVs are expected to be sold annually by 2030, which will increase the demand for public charging points to around 40 million. This corresponds to an investment volume of around 500 billion US dollars in charging infrastructure.

We look forward to driving innovation in EV charging management and creating robust charging networks that accelerate the global transition to electric mobility.

Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO

AMPECO has established itself as a key player in this market and now supports over 160 customers in 60 countries, with more than 120,000 charging points under management. AMPECO's hardware-independent white-label platform enables CPOs (Charge Point Operators) and eMSPs (e-Mobility Service Providers) to efficiently manage and scale EV charging networks under their own brand.

Core features of the platform:

  • Integration with third-party systems: Flexibility for customized solutions.
  • Scalability: Management of networks of any size.
  • Real-time management: Optimization of charging points and minimization of operating costs.

AMPECO is shaping the future of electric mobility. Its platform provides the critical infrastructure to efficiently manage the growing demand for charging points.
