Agrando raises twelve million euros

According to a media report, it is the biggest round for the startup so far. According to the report, it was led by Yabeo Impact.
The agricultural start-up Agrando has raised 12 million euros in a recent financing round. This was reported by Handelsblatt on Monday, citing the founder and investors among others. According to the report, Yabeo Impact led the round for the agricultural technology start-up (Agtech).
The start-up is particularly focused on paperwork away from the actual work in the field. According to its own statements, Agrando wants to be Germany's largest independent trading platform, where farmers can easily order seeds or other materials online. In addition, the start-up also offers analyses, among other things, and wants to advise farmers on which seed is best for their field at which time.
Agrando is already the second start-up that Jonathan Bernwieser has founded in this field. Back in 2015, he wanted to digitize purchasing with a trading platform, but initially failed and now wants to attack again with Agrando. The start-up currently has 20,000 customers and, according to Handelsblatt, sales are expected to reach seven figures.
