The French financial supervisory authority has granted Bitpanda approval. French people can now also trade Bitcoins via the Viennese start-up.

Bitpanda has successfully registered with the French financial supervisory authority. This means that the start-up can now also conquer the French market. After Spain and Turkey, France is the third country the Austrian start-up is expanding into this year. Back in May, Bitpanda announced it would be doing business in France.

Bitpanda is a neo-broker through which cryptocurrencies and digital assets such as bitcoin or gold can be traded. In 2014, Eric Demuth, Paul Klanschek and Christian Trummer founded the start-up. They now have 1.2 million users and more than 250 employees.
