Blockchain Sports invests 10 million dollars in soccer academies in Brazil

New soccer academies in Brazil: Blockchain Sports invests 10 million US dollars. The academies use IoT and AI to promote, train and tokenize young talent.
The tech startup Blockchain Sports Football has invested 10 million US dollars in youth soccer in Brazil. This investment is part of the Blockchain Sports Ecosystem project, which integrates Web3 technologies into the sports industry. The funds were used to set up three soccer academies in Acopiara, Rio de Janeiro and Sobral. Blockchain Sports Football's investment in Brazilian soccer academies comes at the perfect time, as enthusiasm for the sport peaks during the ongoing European Football Championship. The facilities provide young talent aged 14 to 18 with modern training facilities while creating jobs in local communities.
Aim and use of funds
The new academies offer comprehensive facilities such as residential buildings, soccer pitches with natural and artificial turf, administration buildings, schools, dormitories, a spa, a hotel, a stadium and changing rooms. The young players benefit from professional training, accommodation, nutrition and comprehensive support from experts in the fields of nutrition, sports science and physiotherapy.
Our mission is to make the sports industry more transparent with blockchain technology and help young, talented soccer players from disadvantaged backgrounds to realize their dreams.
Dima Saksonov, CEO of Blockchain Sports Ecosystem
Innovative technologies and training
The academies use IoT sensors to analyze players' performance and health data. AI-based algorithms personalize training, rest and nutrition plans. The collected data is transferred to the blockchain to enable athlete tokenization. These athlete tokens offer new investment opportunities for athletes and fans on the decentralized blockchain platform Atleta Network.
Support from soccer legends

Prominent soccer stars such as Zico, Marco Materazzi, Romario Faria and Zé Roberto support the project as ambassadors and curators. They visit the academies and promote the project on social media.
Future prospects
Blockchain Sports Football plans to further expand the "Tempo de futebol" scouting system. A team of professional scouts led by Matula Mindaugas travels through Brazil to discover young talent. The academies prepare these talents to play for the best soccer clubs in the world.
The planned tokenization of players by Blockchain Sports Football is particularly exciting. If there is renewed blockchain hype, there is a good chance that this model will find many supporters. As in other sports, fans could then have the opportunity to stake individual players at an early stage and benefit from their careers.
