Ceregate receives financing

Following a breakthrough in the clinical development of brain stimulation, Ceregate can attract new investors. Nothing is known about the amount of the investment.

Ceregate's current round of funding is led by new investors 468 Capital and Re.mind Capital. This means the startup has investors on board who are experienced in deep technology and mental health. Also participating in the funding round were existing investors TruVenturo, Heal Capital and High-Tech Gründerfonds.

The additional capital will be used to expand the team and further develop the platform. "We are very excited because this means that several applications of our technology that can provide real clinical solutions for patients are only 1-2 years away," said founder and CEO Bálint Várkuti.

The startup has developed a computer-brain interface platform that can relay information to the human brain and thus be used for neuromodulation therapy. The treatment is intended to help patients with neurological or sensory deficits. Ceregate's goal is to increase patients' independence and improve their quality of life.
