Coapp advances into the year with new financing round

Coapp on course for expansion: the new financing round brings fresh capital for the further development of the community platform.

Hanover - The German software startup Coapp has successfully completed another significant capital increase. The financing round includes the participation of existing investors such as Hafven, Plimo Ventures and Hannover Beteiligungsfonds as well as two new business angels, Michael Frankenberg and Arthur Böttcher.

In our current development phase, it is particularly important to us that we expand the investor board with further entrepreneurial experience and additional networkers.

The Coapp community platform enables companies to operate social customer networks under their own brand. This allows them to build peer networks, maintain lasting customer relationships and generate ongoing revenue through subscriptions and bookings. Customers already include more than 50 organizations, including the TAZ cooperative and the European University Viadrina.

The new financing round comes at a time when Coapp is going through important development steps. Lindemann emphasizes:"Our central assumption has always been that communities are valuable for everyone involved. The fact that we have already realized a total of over €1 million in revenue for our communities after just a few months proves that we are on the right track."

Customer growth in Europe and the USA

Coapp plans to use the fresh funds to drive further growth and focus on new customers in Europe and the USA. In addition, more matching and monetization functions are to be integrated to make the community platform even more valuable for usersand operators.
