Edu-Tech Apprentigo goes live

The Viennese start-up Apprentigo is now offering a platform that companies can use to equip their trainees and skilled workers with new skills. Companies can register with Apprentigo and enable their employees to participate in the training programs. Working together as a team, participants are then expected to solve practical problems by developing applications using low-code tools. The focus is not only on the development of apps, but also on social skills. The participants are to learn how to work in a team and solve problems.

Anna Gawin founded the company together with Peter Gawin and Benjamin Ruschin. The pilot project that Apprentigo builds on is the Apprentice Hackathon, which has been teaching apprentices to develop their own web applications using low-code tools to solve real-world problems since 2019.

In addition to attracting enterprise customers, the Apprentigo team is currently developing more functionalities for the platform. Currently, the startup is funded by revenue and is not planning a funding round, he said.
