Emocean receives six-figure sum from Chinese company

The Munich-based start-up is still in the seed financing stage and has already been able to attract the Chinese company Justech Precision Industry as an investor.
As a spin-off of the investor Stratos Ventures, the start-up Emocean was founded near Munich in 2020. The two managing directors Michael Schwarz and Philipp Kirschenhofer bring a lot of experience with them. Emocean is still in the seed financing phase, the Chinese specialist for automation and precision systems Justech Precision Industry is now investing a six-figure sum. Together, the two companies want to work on middleware that allows machines and processes to connect and communicate with each other in real time. This is particularly interesting for the construction of smart factories in the context of Industry 4.0.
So far, Emocean has already been able to win some international customers, however, with the investment and cooperation will not only enter the Chinese market, but also to put money into the expansion of the offer. According to founder Kirschenhofer, the goal is to "become one of the leading providers of industrial IoT solutions."
