Factory Berlin announces redesign and strategic rebranding

The transition to the Factory Network. New clubhouse design concept for Factory Mitte in response to changing work dynamics post-pandemic.

Berlin - Factory Berlin has made a decision: The largest campus, the Görlitzer Park location, will be abandoned, while the original location, Factory Mitte, will be redesigned with a clubhouse design concept. This change marks a strategic realignment for the company.

A changing working environment

In 2016, Factory Berlin proclaimed the end of coworking with the opening of the Görlitzer Park location. The vision was to create an exclusive community of innovators and creatives with access to talent, investors and locations in Berlin and Hamburg. The current post-pandemic developments confirm this vision, as CEO Zino Soyka is convinced that the work dynamic has changed permanently and employees will no longer return to offices or coworking spaces.

To accommodate this changing dynamic, Factory Mitte, the original location, is opening its doors to a community of over 4,500 innovators and creatives with a new clubhouse design concept. Inspired by living room design, the location will provide a comfortable space where members can work, develop their creativity, network and celebrate. The reopening also includes a new restaurant concept and an after-hours bar for members and guests.

Rebranding Factory Network

The roots of Factory Berlin are deeply connected to the industrial heritage of the city of Berlin, located on the historic site of the Oswald Berlin brewery. The location not only represents Berlin's architectural and industrial history, but is also a symbol of regeneration. This move goes hand in hand with a strategic rebranding - Factory Berlin becomes Factory Network - accompanied by the new vision: "Give innovators a unique network."

Factory Network is the continuation of our model.

Zino Soyka, CEO of Factory Network

Factory Network will be a business club for members, consisting of investors, founders and innovators. Spaces, events, programs and partnerships will empower members to build the next generation of tech companies. Building plans have been finalized and are expected to be completed by June, in time for the 10th anniversary of Factory Network's founding.
