Another delivery service for Germany

According to a media report, the US delivery service Gopuff is coming to Germany. This means that competition is becoming increasingly fierce.
The delivery service with the friendly name Gopuff now also wants to deliver food in Germany. Currently, the US start-up is looking for a regional manager for the "overall success in Germany", human resources and location manager, reports Capital. Gopuff has already been delivering groceries in the US for eight years - though not in ten minutes but "in 30 minutes or less," according to the company. Most recently, the company raised $1 billion in a funding round. This brings the company's value to 15 billion US dollars. Among the investors is the Japanese company Softbank.
With its announced market entry, Gopuff is increasingly heating up the competition in Germany. With Gorillas and Flink from Berlin, two 10-minute delivery services are already established. In June, Turkish delivery service Getir announced it was also coming to the German capital. In addition, the Delivery Hero subsidiary Foodpanda already delivers in Berlin. Many of the providers advertise with discount codes and do massive marketing, burning a lot of the investment to gain market share. With Gopuff, a very established, and after the latest round of financing, also very financially strong start-up is now entering the German market.
