Another delivery service for Germany

According to a media report, the US delivery service Gopuff is coming to Germany. This means that competition is becoming increasingly fierce.
The delivery service with the friendly name Gopuff now wants to deliver food in Germany too. The US start-up is currently looking for a regional manager for "overall success in Germany", HR managers and location managers, reports Capital. Gopuff has already been delivering food in the USA for eight years - not in ten minutes but "in 30 minutes or less", according to the company. The company recently raised one billion US dollars in a financing round. This increases the company's value to 15 billion US dollars. Among the investors is the Japanese company Softbank.
With its announced market entry, Gopuff continues to heat up the competition in Germany. Two 10-minute delivery services, Gorillas and Flink from Berlin, are already established. In June, the Turkish delivery service Getir announced that it would also be coming to the German capital. In addition, the Delivery Hero subsidiary Foodpanda already delivers in Berlin. Many of the providers advertise with discount codes and engage in massive marketing, burning through a lot of their investments to gain market share. With Gopuff, a very established start-up is now entering the German market and, following the latest financing round, is also very financially strong.
