Talentlobby receives investment from allygatr
HR tech investor allygatr invests in Talentlobby, an Austrian start-up that offers AI-based recruiting for the hotel and catering industry.
Berlin - The leading operational venture capitalist for HR tech in Germany, allygatr, has announced an investment in the Austrian start-up Talentlobby. Talentlobby offers an AI-powered recruiting solution specifically for the hospitality industry.
We are convinced that Talentlobby has the potential to become the leading provider of AI-based recruiting in the hotel and catering industry in the entire German-speaking region.

Talentlobby, formerly known as "Digitalents", was founded in Salzburg in 2019 by Philipp Habring and Paul Hagler. The company supports hotels and restaurants in their search for suitable staff through AI-supported recruiting.
The investment from allygatr will be used to accelerate Talentlobby's expansion into the German market. The start-up deliberately chose allygatr as an investor to benefit from its unique HR ecosystem, which includes industry leaders, investors, founders and customers. allygatr will also provide operational support to Talentlobby.

allygatr already has successful solutions for industry-specific digital recruiting services such as Searchtalent, workbee and Hammerjobs. Talentlobby adds the hospitality sector to this portfolio. "Hotels and restaurants are desperately looking for qualified service staff, and Talentlobby is the ideal solution for this," says Visser.
This investment marks allygatr's first involvement in Austria and enables the Berlin-based VC to cover the entire DACH region. Allygatr already has 23 companies in its portfolio, including the care-as-a-benefit app heynanny, the cultural matching test Recunited and bNear, which creates virtual offices in Microsoft Teams.
