Talent lobby receives investment from allygatr

HR tech investor allygatr invests in Talentlobby, an Austrian start-up offering AI-based recruiting for the hospitality industry.

Berlin - The leading operational venture capitalist for HR tech in Germany, allygatr, has announced an investment in Austrian start-up Talentlobby. Talentlobby offers an AI-powered recruiting solution specifically for the hotel and hospitality industry.

Talentlobby, formerly known as "Digitalents," was founded in 2019 by Philipp Habring and Paul Hagler in Salzburg. The company helps hotels and restaurants find suitable staff through AI-powered recruiting.

The investment from allygatr will be used to accelerate Talentlobby's expansion into the German market. The startup deliberately chose allygatr as an investor to benefit from its unique HR ecosystem, which includes industry leaders, investors, founders and customers. allygatr will also support Talentlobby with operational support.

allygatr already has successful solutions for industry-specific digital recruiting services such as Searchtalent, workbee and Hammerjobs. Talentlobby adds hospitality to this portfolio. "Hotels and restaurants are desperately looking for qualified service staff, and Talentlobby is the ideal solution for this," says Visser.

This investment marks allygatr's first engagement in Austria and enables the Berlin-based VC to cover the entire DACH region. Allygatr already has 23 companies in its portfolio, including care-as-a-benefit app heynanny, cultural matching test Recunited and bNear, which creates virtual offices in Microsoft Teams.
